Jakarta City Parliament has not discussed the implementation of e-budgeting system in 2014 budget management, causing Jakarta Vice Governor, Basuki T Purnama, disappointed.

“What should we say if parliament does not want? We also cannot suppress Regional Working Unit (SKPD) to follow our procedures,” said Basuki, to reporters at City Hall, Tuesday (10/22).

Besides e-budgeting system, parliament is also not yet discussing bylaw related with One-Roof Integrated Service (PTSP) and goods procurement through e-catalog system.

Nevertheless, he continued, Jakarta Provincial Government has separated and crossed unimportant the 2014 budget posts. “At least in 2014, the city was able to use e-budgeting in 2014 City Budget (APBD). So, all will be e-government,” he expressed.

Basuki believes the e-budgeting or budgeting drafting could avoid the diversion of budget. “Its password is only known and changed by district leaders,” he explained.

He added the withdrawal of unimportant budget but it showed again on 2013 APBD almost happens in each institution. “One of them is Public Works Department,” he finished.
