Transforming Government since 2001
Hewlett Packard (HP), Intel and Microsoft today joined hands to launch a new initiative targeted at the government sector in Asia-Pacific. Forged under the companies’ existing Keystone Alliance partnership, the program brings together complementary technologies from the trio to deliver a host of e-government offerings.

These include solutions for the deployment of government-to-citizen and government-to-business services.

In the first phase of this project, they will be targeting China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Thailand, said a HP spokesman.

Early adopters of this initiative include China’s Meteorological Administration and Singapore-based insurer NTUC Income, the companies said in a joint statement.

The Keystone alliance was forged in 2001 but the initial effort focused solely on banking and capital markets companies in the region.
