The introduction of best eGovernment practices and the experience of government and private institutions in Oman on the subject will be discussed at a 3-day symposium here.
The symposium on 'Excellence in eGovernment' begins tomorrow at the Shangri-La's Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa. The meet is part of the initiative of the Sultan Qaboos Award for Excellence in eGovernment 2014.
The symposium, which will continue till Wednesday, will be held under the patronage of Talal Sulaiman Al Rahbi, Deputy Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Planning.
A number of international speakers will be present at the symposium to discuss topics like the UN eGovernment Survey Report, the best eGovernment approaches and practices, youth innovation concept and social innovation and skills required for entrepreneurs.
