The General Authority for Regulating the Telecommunications Sector (TRA), represented by the UAE mGovernment’s Center of Digital Innovation’s (CoDI), recently hosted a training program on “Success of Shared Services” and how to maximize and optimize the use of the service resources. These programs were specially developed for Operating Systems Managers and heads of IT sections in the TRA in order update them about the latest developments achieved in this area.
During the training program, many important topics pertaining to Shared Services were discussed with a focus on Smart government, shared resources, cloud computing, IT governance, and mobile devices management programs. Each subject was discussed thoroughly while highlighting best ways to deal with it and its relevance and direct impact on the resource management process, which will lead to the provision of comprehensive value-added services for the TRA’s clients.
“This training program comes as part of an integrated training series that was already designed to ensure developing and refining staff skills in a scientific and systematic manner that reflects positively on the performance of various teams working in the Authority in order to ensure the provision of quality services to our clients. The main objective is to promote the spirit of innovation and research and encourage the employees to abandon traditional methods of accomplishing work and take initiative through exploring new and innovative methods that add a new aspect of creativity and innovation within the work environment,” said H.E. Hamad Obaid Al Mansouri, TRA Director General and UAE mGovernment Director General.
“We will continue our efforts to implement the scheduled training programs for this year in line with the ambitious vision adopted by the TRA in all areas related to promoting a culture of innovation and creativity in response to the directives of our leadership and their wise vision. We are confident that the participants in this program will put the knowledge they acquire into practice which will definitely have a significant impact on their productivity and quality of work,” H.E. added.
The m-Government’s Center of Digital Innovation’s (CoDI) is an integrated platform that supports innovation and research in topics related to training and mGovernment services, quality assurance, and advisory services, in order to promote and spread knowledge and refine skills and encourage public participation and engage both public and private sectors in the initiatives and projects of the mGovernment. The center is one of the most important strategic and efficient initiatives in the completion of the UAE mGovernment Transformation project.
