Advisor Salim bin Mohammad Al-Kuwari represented the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) and Mohammad Ali Al-Qaed represented the e-Government Authority in the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding concerned with the development of the electronic judicial work systems in line with the prevailing laws.

The MoU aims to develop the work methods and allows the exchange of international consultations and expertise in smart judicial systems based on modern technology.

Advisor Al-Kuwari lauded the e-Government Authority's efforts in bolstering and disseminating the electronic culture and developing mechanisms and services presented to Bahrain's community.

He said that the MoU contributes to the implementation of the strategy of uplifting Judiciary Authority and to gradually abandon paper work without prejudice to legal procedures.

Al-Qaed said the MoU targets promoting government action plan and to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of government performance through continuous improvement of the quality of government services.
