An online passport renewal service was launched yesterday (December 11) by Bahrain’s Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) in conjunction with the e-Government Authority.
Bahrainis can now apply for passport renewals and enquire about their passport application status online at www.bahrain.bh, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
They only have to visit the passport office once to collect the new document.
The new service was announced by NPRA Assistant Under-Secretary Shaikh Ahmed bin Isa Al Khalifa in a press conference at the Officer's Club in Gudaibiya.
