During the meeting, Al Qaed stressed the authority’s keenness on encouraging innovation and supporting the initiatives of individuals including authors, researchers and developers in supporting and enriching the telecommunications and information technology sector.
Upon receiving the book, Al Qaed highlighted "The researchers and authors have an important role in spreading awareness and educating the public out of their responsibility towards society, and we are proud that the individuals, the civil community institutions and the private sector institutions participate in this role." Al Qaed wished them all success and progress in their academic march.
The book "Hiding Information Hidden Writing and the Watermark" falls in 14 chapters, addressing the security of information through several techniques and innovative methods. According to the author, encryption is now considered one of the strongest means to protect the stored and exchanged information, in addition, the author presents other security means such as privacy, reliability, digital signature, non-repudiation, authentication and data integrity, but still there are some vulnerability, which makes it an easy prey for adversaries.
