This came as Shaikh Ahmed patronised the inauguration ceremony held at Moda Mall in the presence of the e-Government Authority Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mohammed Ali Al Qaed and Credit Max CEO Mohammed Malik. The move is in line with the e-government Authority's vision aiming to provide e-services through different channels, as outlined by the Economic Vision for Bahrain, 2030, said Shaikh Ahmed.
The inauguration of the e-services centres and the installation of the e-kiosk devices, along with e-government portal, mobile phone portal and the national communication centre, will enable customers to process their services and transactions free of charge wherever they are and whenever they need to. A kiosk is a small physical structure (often including a computer and a display screen) that displays information for people walking by. Kiosks are common near the entrances of shopping malls providing shoppers with directions. Kiosks are also used at trade shows and professional conferences.
