Cabinet Affairs Minister and Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology member Shaikh Ahmed bin Ateyatala Al Khalifa revealed the news as he launched the 100th e-service during a ceremony at the Gulf Hotel's Gulf Convention Centre.
He said the achievement would help attract an inflow of foreign direct investments that will contribute to economic development.
The e-Government Authority plans to eventually offer 200 basic services through four channels - the e-government national portal, mobile portal, Common Services Centres (CSCs) and the National Call Centre.
To date, 107 e-services are available through the national portal (www.bahrain.bh), with the rest set to be launched at various stages until 2010-end.
Twenty-three e-services are already available through mobile phone, with 10 more set for activation before year-end.
These provide key services such as electricity bill payment, traffic violation inquiries, daily price index, flight information, school examination results and registration of complaints to government bodies.
