Bahrain's e-government project yesterday took centre stage as Deputy Premier Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa chaired a meeting of the ICT Supreme Committee at Gudaibiya Palace.
Pricewater House gave a detailed presentation, highlighting the project's multi-faceted applications in both the public and private sectors.
The firm has been given 10 weeks to study the situation in Bahrain as part of preparations to launch the project.
The committee has also decided to launch a media campaign to promote 10 e-gate ministry services which are now ready to be operated.
