It is good news for the people of Udupi.The city municipality will go on the net from Friday July 1. The state minister for Municipal Administration and KUIDFC S R More will inaugurate the official website of Udupi city in municipal office at Bangalore on July 1 at 3.30 pm. Union finance minister P Chidambaram, state chief minister Dharam Singh and deputy chief minister Siddhramaiah will also be present on the occasion. The website provides an opportunity for the people to register their complaints, grievances and also suggestions for the better running of the city municipality. Along with Udupi, a separate division has also been created for Raichur, Gulberga, Mysore, Gokak, Hassan, Mahadevapura city municipality near Bangalore in the website.

People can log on to "www.udupicity.gov.in" to register their complaints and suggestions or else can call up to helpline on 5295922 or can file applications. This facility will be available on all seven days of the week.

Website consists the information about the city municipality. Applications to file complaints too are available on the net itself. This website facility has been freely donated by Bangalore based E-Government’s Foundation.
