Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis on Friday said that the e-governance plan for Kalyan-Dombivli civic body will be developed by US company, Oracle, on the lines of the system in Los Angeles.
Fadnavis made the announcement while inaugurating a 'Smart City summit' programme in Kalyan. He said a memorandum of understanding would be inked with the US multinational shortly. Fadnavis also declared that his government was serious about tackling the problem of dangerous and dilapidated buildings in the city.
"We are planning to introduced slum rehabilitation and cluster redevelopment scheme for the city. We will also consider the demand to extend the Metro network up to Kalyan via Bhiwandi," he said.
