AWAASSoft- An e-Governance Solution for Indira Awaas Yojana is a local language enabled workflow based transactional level management information system to facilitate e-governance in the system.
The system has been prepared and deployed at http://iay.nic.in by NIC in collaboration with the Ministry of Rural Development.
The system is designed for all the stakeholders of IAY including the beneficiaries of the scheme. The portal http://iay.nic.in is accessible to all including the National/International Community.
AWAASSoft starts with the setting of targets by the Ministry of Rural Development for a financial year.
The system facilitates selection of beneficiaries by providing loose coupling with the Rural Household Survey BPL Census 2002.
