Transforming Government since 2001
My E.G. Service Bhd is set to continue spearheading the e-Government initiative in Malaysia, buoyed by the encouraging public adoption of e-Government service thus far.

MYEG, a Malaysia-status company on the main market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd, is Malaysia's E-Government services provider.

MYEG Chairman Datuk Dr Norraesah Mohamad said since its launch in 2000, MYEG's online portal at www.myeg.com.my had attracted more than 10 million users, with quicker growth recorded in recent years in line with the group's expanded suite of e-Government services and its advertising and promotion campaign.

"MYEG intended to continue rolling out more e-Government services; the most recent being the voluntary vehicle ownership transfer service in early August," she said in a statement on Thursday.

Meanwhile, in the financial results for the year ended June 30, 2012, MYEG's group revenue rose 13.8 per cent to RM66.9 million, while group net profit attributable to shareholders increased to RM27.3 million, a commendable 23.5 per cent rise from the previous year.

In respect of its financial year ended June 30, 2012 results, MYEG declared 0.9 per cent final tax exempt dividend for per ordinary share, which will be tabled for shareholders' approval at the upcoming annual general meeting.

Together with the 0.5 sen interim tax exempt dividend per share paid in February 2012, the group's total dividend declared in respect of financial year ended June 30, 2012 would amount to 1.4 sen per share, translating to RM8.4 million dividend payout or 30.7 per cent of financial year June 30, 2012 net profit.
