Transforming Government since 2001
Tricubes Bhd, the enabler of the 1Malaysia email account which is part of the government's Economic Transformation Programme (ETP), has introduced two initial electronic services on www.myemail.my based on the Road Transport Department's (JPJ) driving licence and road tax reminder for myemail users.

"With this new JPJ eService from myemail, myemail users will be reminded two weeks before their driving licence or road tax expires," said Tricubes chief executive Khairun Mokhtar in a statement today.

"The reminders will be sent via email directly to the user's myemail inbox. For added convenience, reminders can be sent to the user's smartphone as well." he said.

Users can receive myemail on any smartphone – iPhone, Blackberry or Android phones, or tablet devices.

The JPJ reminders from myemail are digital versions of the same reminders that are sent by JPJ via physical mail. myemail's JPJ eService is free to all myemail users and myemail is open to all Malaysians.

Khairun said JPJ's eServices on myemail is the start of many eServices that will become available on myemail.

The loss-making Tricubes is currently working with Bursa Malaysia to facilitate the approval of its regularisation plan that was submitted on Dec 29 2011.
