Samsudin said the application system developed by the Sarawak Information System Sdn Bhd (SAINS) at the Syariah Judicial Department of Malaysia and the Syariah Judicial Department in the states would strengthen the legal knowledge and Islamic judiciary in other Muslim countries.
The text of Samsudin's speech was read by the Public Service Department Director-General Datuk Seri Ismail Adam.
He said the application, a part of the seventh e-Government project was completed in the time frame given (from 2002 to 2005).
Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad launched the project which cost RM39 million, on Feb 7, 2003 in Putrajaya.
On the study, he said 84.8 percent of the cases were resolved in six months while 15.1 percent were resolved after that period.
He said 71.6 percent were resolved in less than three months.
