Citizens can now visit eWashtenaw.org and easily apply for jobs online with Washtenaw County. www.eWashtenaw.org, the county’s official e-Government portal, recently launched its latest application, the Human Resource Applicant system. Not only can citizens fill out the applications online but they also can attach a cover letter and resume. Individuals interested in working with the county may now apply from anywhere in the world, broadening the county’s pool of interested applicants.
Washtenaw County currently offers a variety of online services, including the ability to obtain copies of Certified Vital Records, birth certificates, marriage licenses and death certificates, to purchase customized G.I.S. Maps from GIS program and pre-published reports from the Planning Dept. via the MapStore, and perform parcel searches on the Property/Parcel Lookup.
Many additional eGovernment services, including ePermitting, Deeds Search and Court eFiling are in development and will be added to the portal by the end of 2003.
