In order to set up a limited liability company online in Poland, one must submit their application through the E-MS service of the Ministry of Justice and sign it with a secure eSignature supported by qualified certificates. From 1 June 2012, one will have the possibility to sign their application by means of a Trusted Profile, which is a free alternative to commercial eSignatures.
This is another public eService that will be made available to Trusted Profile holders. Likewise, from 1 January 2013, one will be able to sign with their Trusted Profile requests for information from the National Criminal Registry - on physical persons (e.g. no criminal records certificate) or on legal entities.
To obtain a Trusted Profile one will first need to create an account on eGovernment portal ePUAP (the electronic Platform of Public Administration Services) and submit an application for this account to gain the Trusted Profile status. The next step is to authenticate their profile in one of the designated offices (one-time visit), a list of which is available on the ePUAP platform. Once their data has been checked based on the ID card they presented at the office's desk, their ePUAP account will have the Trusted Profile status.
