Transforming Government since 2001
During November and December 2010, the Agency for Governmental IT-services (Statens It, in Danish) introduced a new web portal, Service Portal (Serviceportalen, in Danish), where its users will find information about the current IT operational situation, planned service windows, news about the Agency, and consult several help guides.

Service Portal will also a web-based application for the 10 000 users who use the Agency's service desk, where users are able to log online IT problems and thereby gain access to support. The content of Service Portal can be targeted to individual customers or specific user groups.

In the future, the aim is to develop the portal, so it will also contain separate information sections including, for example, contacts with customers and security officers. In this way, Service Portal will become a useful tool for both the Agency and its users.

Lone Strøm, Director of the Agency, said: "With Service Portal we provide our customer contacts and users a single point of access to the information they need from the Agency for Governmental IT-services. We also get the opportunity to target communications to different customer groups and users."

Service Portal is accessible to the customers and end users of the Agency only.
