The local government unit of Balanga City has partnered with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) to advance its vision of becoming a "smart city."

The partnership is under the Linking Innovation Partners towards Accelerated Development in the Philippines (LIPAD PH) program.

A partnership between the City of Richardson and the University of Texas at Dallas using artificial intelligence to improve drive times has been internationally recognized.

The Distributed Agent-based traffic Lights, or DALI, Nexus traffic infrastructure reduced commuter delays by 30 percent and reduced traffic delays by 40 percent.

Just 25 minutes from downtown Atlanta, the city of Peachtree Corners is quietly building one of the most advanced smart city ecosystems in the United States.

At the heart of it is Curiosity Lab, a 5G-enabled, real-world test bed that allows startups and established tech companies to develop, test, and deploy cutting-edge innovations across the mobility, infrastructure, and the Internet of Things (IoT) sectors. Since its launch in 2019, it’s been a place of many firsts — from autonomous vehicle (AV) traffic signal preemption to underground robot deliveries.

Hubs are central locations where delivery trucks can unload cargo and transfer it to smaller, more sustainable forms of transportation, such as cargo bikes. New York City Department of Transportation (NYC DoT) has launched the first of the city’s microhubs for deliveries on the Upper West Side. They will provide a dedicated space to shift deliveries from trucks to safer and more sustainable forms of transportation. Amazon, Net Zero Logistics and UPS are among the participating logistics companies.
