UK: Cabinet Office markets Directgov
The Cabinet Office has started a £1.8m advertising campaign to boost take up of the Directgov public services website, it announced on 6 March 2006.
The month long campaign will feature online, radio and press advertising – but not a TV campaign. According to the latest figures, Directgov receives 2m visitors a month, a figure which is hoped to increase following the campaign.

UK: Council's E-Cost Spiralling, Claim
Group leader Councillor Darren Price said the scheme now costs £20 million more than it did in November 2004. He claims that a presentation by council officers then put the cost at £150 million but said the Lib Dem-led coalition has always maintained costs had not shot up and had always been £170 million.
