United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Microsoft Corporation are discussing plans to push forward the country's projects in the field of smart government services, state news agency WAM reported.

The UAE Ministry of Interior , represented by the Security Support Department, at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, won the Wins 'Best Government Practice in Community e-Participation' Award within the fourth GCC e-Government Award hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain, presented the award to Lieutenant Colonel Faisal Mohammed Al Shimmari, Director of the E- Auditing Department, and Major Fawaz Ali Abdullah, Director of the Security Media Department at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
