City's Fire Department Utilizes New Wireless Technology to Streamline Their Inspection Process

Accela, Inc., the leading provider of government enterprise management solutions, announced today that the Temecula, California Fire Department has launched Accela Wireless, a software application that facilitates direct, real-time access to data in an agency's database from a mobile device in the field. The General Services Administration today hired BearingPoint Inc. of McLean, Va., to provide 14,000 smart cards to agency employees by the beginning of next year.
