Sound event detection solution specialist Jalud Embedded is expanding into the UK market to offer security technologies designed to enhance public safety in smart cities, critical infrastructure and high-risk environments.
Jalud’s technology provides a tool for real-time sound detection and analysis and is capable of identifying critical sounds such as distress calls, gunshots, explosions, glass breakage and more.
Public safety technology
The technology has already proven effective across cities, universities, hospitals, industrial estates in the Czech Republic where Jalud is headquartered.

Recently, in the Czech town of Dubí, Jalud’s sound event detection technology played a critical role in saving a human life. The system’s real-time detection of a distressing sound enabled rapid intervention by emergency services, demonstrating the life-saving potential of our technology in high-stress environments.
In addition, detectors have already been tested in Birmingham and London.
