The agreement aims to support Senegal’s broader digital transformation agenda by leveraging technology to enhance public services, expand access to digital opportunities, and foster innovation across sectors.

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Senegal’s Ministry of Communication Telecommunications and Digital Economy Senegal (MCTN) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration on digital transformation initiatives in the country.

According to a statement shared by UNDP Senegal, the partnership will focus on key areas including digital governance, digital inclusion, artificial intelligence, and innovation.

The agreement aims to support Senegal’s broader digital transformation agenda by leveraging technology to enhance public services, expand access to digital opportunities, and foster innovation across sectors.

Through this collaboration, both parties intend to drive initiatives that promote inclusive digital development while positioning Senegal as a growing hub for digital innovation in the region.
