Africom is also developing 31 e-services at a cost of EBR 1.9 million and eSystems Africa is developing 44 services for twelve government institutions including Addis Ababa City Administration, the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development (MoFED), the Ministry of Culture and Tourism (MoCT), the Ministry of Industry (MoI), the Ministry of Trade (MoT) and the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (MoLSA).
The institutions that have been prioritised for e-services include the ministries of Foreign Affairs, Agriculture, Health, Labour & Social Affairs, Urban Development, as well as the Federal Transport Authority and the Agency for Government Houses.
The MoCIT has planned to develop 219 e-services by 2015 as part of the five-year scheme started in 2011. It has also given the Ethiopian Information Technology and Government Award (EITGA) to the Ethiopian National Archives & Library Agency, MoFED and the Ethiopian Social Security Agency for upgrading their portals in a timely manner, using e-mails and filing their reports monthly.
