The Minister of Finance and Economic Planning Badr-Eddin Mahmoud has said that the aim of adopting electronic receipt voucher (15) as a collection tool for the state's revenues was to raise collection efficiency to increase revenues and to prevent many misuses that were occurring in the paper-based system.
The minister pointed out, when he presented a report on the electronic receipt voucher (15) in the joint meeting of the sectors of the Council of Ministers Thursday, that the electronic collection of money was an important step for the implementation of e-government. He called on the ministries, states and all concerned parties to be committed to the application of the project of money collection through electronic receipt voucher (15).
Meanwhile, the meeting reviewed a number of substantive and procedural proposals for the development of the role of the ministerial sectors in support of decision-making, presented by the Minister of Council of Ministers Ahmed Saad Omer.
