The state minister informed the House that Sajeeb Ahmed Wazed Joy, Information and Communication Technology Affairs Adviser to the Prime Minister, has been conferred upon “ICT for Development Award” for his far reaching initiatives in setting Bangladesh on the road to Digital World.

He said the country’s export earnings from the IT sector would be US$ 1 billion by 2018 and it would jump to US$ 5 billion by 2021.
