MCIT Strategic Planning Department’s head Isbandiyar Aliyev says that the digital signature of every citizen is equal on its efficiency to a handwritten signature, so one must be very careful in its issuance and use.
"After a state or commercial structure undergoes a number of procedures, we issue to it a copy of the ID, and it is not ruled out that in the hands of dishonest people the data can be used for different purposes. Getting the EDS code by e-mail after scanned ID data submission is one of those cases when these data can be used to the detriment of the person, as the data is sent by mail and the operator is not able to identify an individual recipient of the signature. The appearance of an EDS receiving citizen directly at the place of registration allows you to see for yourself that really this man gets the signature," he emphasized.
