Internet portal of the school www.mesafedenmekteb.edu.az has been also presented at the opening ceremony, the ICT Information Centre told Gun.Az.
The event was attended by Education Minister Misir Mardanov, as well as different representatives of the education sphere.
The Distance Education Centre, a component of project Electronic Training Systems carried out within the State Program in Informatization of Education System in Azerbaijan in 2008-2012, provides the secondary education of pupils requiring special care by distance educational methods.
Project Electronic Training Systems aims to support the integration of children having disabilities and studying at home to society by involving them in the distance education, improve their education opportunities and increase their ability of using computer and electronic resources.
