Addressing the 51st graduation ceremony of Igoji Teachers College in South Imenti, the Director of Quality Assurance Mohamhed Mwinyipembe said the new system will help provide quality education and spur rapid economic development.
He said the ministry of Education will reform primary level education and urged teachers to read the documents and be informed of changes in the sector.
During the ceremony, 671 graduads received P1 certificates while 39 got Early Childhood Development Education certificates. The college chief principal Jean Kivuti said the institution is in the process of receiving the ISO 9001:2008 certificate.
