Only about 15-17% of Bulgarians have personal access to the Internet, a survey has shown last year.
Bulgaria's state administration minister underlined Friday that the percentage needs to reach at least 25 in order to have an efficient e-government. Minister Dimitar Kalchev was opening the e-Municipality national conference, the fifth in a row.
A report presented during the event showed that only half of the Bulgarian municipalities had their own websites. Furthermore, the information on most of those web pages hasn't seen any update since their launching.
