“The basis of the e- government was created in less than a year with work under two projects of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, which are funded by the Administrative Capacity Operational Programme”. This is what Minister of Transport and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski said at a conference in Borovets resort, the press center of the Ministry announced. Within the frames of the event, he presented the activities of the project themed Improvement of Administrative Services to Users by Building-up Central e-government Systems. The project is worth about BGN 12 million and is funded under the Administrative Capacity Operational Programme, financed by the EU.

"From now on municipalities and ministries should make the most effort to offer electronic services," Minister Moskovski said. In his words, the direct effect of which is saving time and money, and indirectly, the management confronts corruption and falsification of documents.

"In the next programming period is expected significant funding opportunities for e-government in sectors such as health, education, justice," the Minister of Transport and Communications said.
