Bulgaria is to seal Monday a contract with "Information Technologies in the Healthcare System" consortium over launching a national e-health portal.
The agreement for its realization will be signed by the Health Minister Radoslav Gaydarski and his State Administration counterpart Nykolay Vassilev.
The consortium has won the contest, organized by the two ministries over the project's development by offering BGN 1,2 M.
The national health portal is to make lots of services accessible to the doctors as well as to the patients.
The project provides also for loading of web based information system, which will consist of personal e-portals of 40,000 health officials.
Development of such portals is part of the e-Health initiatives of the European Union.
