Caplovic, who was speaking during his ongoing visit to the Serbian region of Vojvodina, heaped particular praise on the e-government of Indija's local administration.
"It's a great town, where I want to send our experts in information society. In its local authority, the town has created a perfect, top-class e-government, not at a European, but at a global level, which enables it to arrange a construction permit within 14 hours," said Caplovic.
In the city of Novi Sad on Sunday, Caplovic met Vojvodina Region Executive Board deputy chairman and ethnic Slovak Anna Tomanova Makanova and deputy chairman of Vojvodina's Parliament Martin Zlocha. The talks between the officials revolved around fostering further cultural, economic and education co-operation.
According to Caplovic, ever more Slovaks are involved in the management of public and local administration, which has also been demonstrated by his own meetings with some of Vojvodina's top representatives.
Caplovic also said that a delegation from the Slovak Trade and Industry Chamber (SOPK) is set to visit Vojvodina in the near future, as there are vast opportunities for investment both from the linguistic point of view and thanks to the "more brotherly use of capacities offered to us by Serbia."
