A day-long e-Government conference was held yesterday to meet the demands of modern government in Brunei held yesterday in Jerudong.
Entitled "Enabling Government into 21st Century" the talk was intended to share the capability and implementation experiences on government and non-government in the region and worldwide. Other objectives were to provide a high level overview government agency, IT adaptation and success stories, share insight on where the Brunei Government is in their cycle, what things they should look out for, what they should be doing and going forward, insights into best practices and what other governments are doing worldwide.
Present at the conference was Pehin Dato Awang Haji Zakaria, the Minister of Communication and the Chairman of Brunei Darussalam Information Technology Council.
