Transforming Government since 2001
All citizens and residents of Brunei are eligible to take part in a nationwide e-government citizen survey beginning December 4 to identify which government services need to be made available online.

The survey will enable more effective citizen engagement and collaboration with the community, Brunei's e-government media said in a statement.

Participants will be able to fill in online surveys at www.egovcitizensurvey2009.gov.bn or at Brunei-Muara counter services of the government such as the Labour Department, Immigration and National Registration, Post Office Mail Processing Centre and the Land Transport Department.

Each participant who completes the survey will receive a gift and will be eligible for prizes, provided they have given their names and identity card (IC) number.

Data will also be collected from other stakeholders, mainly government employees across all ministries through focus groups.

The survey is a joint initiative between the Prime Minister's Office and Infocom Federation Brunei in collaboration with the e-Government National Centre and Brunei Accenture Group (BAG) Networks Sdn Bhd, the statement said.

Roadshows about the survey are scheduled to be held in all four districts this month.
