Two of the existing centres, which offer all the necessary services to young Omanis who intend to launch their own businesses, are located in Ruwi and one each in Al Khoudh and Al Ghubrah. Dheeb said plans were a foot to expand the facility to the other regions and governorates, notably in the cities of Sur and Sohar.
Dheeb noted that the government had played a significant role in setting up the centres, bearing all the costs to train Omani youth in coordination with Bahwan Cybertek Group.
The main aim of the centres, he explained, was to create gainful employment and business opportunity for the nation's youth by delivering government and corporate services electronically. He said the concept of Sanad services was focused on self-employment of Omanis by providing all necessary services under one roof, such as payment of electricity, water and telephones bills and translation and Internet services.
