All UAE airports will soon have e-gates that will help speed travelling procedures.
They will reduce the workload on the staff at peak hours, thus helping to reduce the mistakes that may be committed by airport officials. The easy-to-operate e-gates will first be established at all UAE airports and then will be installed at all border crossings.
"The Ministry of Interior seeks to employ all sophisticated technology, and to improve security performance, as a means to switch to the e-government," said Lt General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Interior, who announced the project.
