The Etisalat Academy, in collaboration with senior consultants of the SHL Group, will handle the assessment and development programme that is specially designed for the eGovernment staff.
Dr. Do'aa Fares, General Manager Etisalat Academy said, 'The Competency Centre at Etisalat Academy has demonstrated its high expertise and potential in employee assessment and development by applying world class competency techniques to many organizations in the United Arab Emirates and GCC.'
Salem Khamis Al Shair, Director of eServices, Dubai eGovernment, said 'We strive to enhance the development of our collaboration with Etisalat Academy in all fields of training and development of professionals. Our objective is to better equip our employees so they can apply their professional skills in order to achieve their goals in the development of the UAE.'
Mariam Mohammed, Competency Centre Manager Etisalat Academy, stressed the importance of the Competency Centre and said that this is derived from the vital role played by Human Resources in the success of an organization and corporation. She added, 'The results from the competency tests applied shows a clear and precise path for Human Resources in a company. The Dubai eGovernment programme consists of 3 stages, where the first stage is the specialized workshop detailing the importance of employee assessment and development. The second stage will consist of the employees being trained on competency structures for all types of job descriptions available. This will lead to the final stage where employees will apply these in a workshop using the latest and most modern tools offered by the SHL Group.'
The programme will end with a full assessment of all the employees and their competency levels in order to determine their path for development. Supervising the programme will be a team of senior consultants from the Competency Centre at the Etisalat Academy and the SHL Group, where they will be working side by side with the Dubai eGovernment work force.
