DCCI members will be able to receive answers to all their inquiries in regards to the Certificate of origin, Legalization of Commercial invoices and attachments as will as formalities for re-issuance and amendments of the documents that are already authenticated by the Chamber.

For those clients wishing to register or renew their membership or update membership records will also able to inquire and receive assistant from the programme. Attestation and notarization of members signatures on commercial and trade related documents are also part of the first phase of this project between Dubai E-Government and the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI).

DCCI's decision to join Dubai eGovernment's AskDubai service will benefit a large section of Dubai's industrial community,' said Salem Al Shair, eServices Director, Dubai eGovernment. 'With the rapid developments taking place in Dubai's business sector, there is a need to provide efficient electronic services to simplify routine transactions and to ensure significant savings in time and costs to the clients.'

'Today's fast-paced business environment has created an added emphasis on round-the-clock access and high levels of customer satisfaction. Advanced call centers provide companies the required solutions to ensure high quality of customer service,' he added.

AskDubai integrates key features of CRM (Customer Relationship Management), which has become a crucial component of business management in today's Information Age. AskDubai has been set up using leading edge technologies that ensure that every call is attended through either an agent or automated voice response systems.

While being the ninth member in the (Ask Dubai) program; the Chamber is very keen in having as many as services done through the (Ask Dubai) programme, it is for the chamber's strategy that DCCI should build a strong partnership with all government departments and that to exert all possible means to make the members' life easier.

The chamber is currently investing in new technology and by March 2006 members will be able to interact with the chamber or through ( Ask Dubai) much easier and will be benefited with wide varieties of services, said Abdul Rahman G. Al Mutaiwee, Director General of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Recently the Chamber have merged the Membership Affairs Section and the Commercial Documentation Section to becomes one section called the " Members' Services Section" the ONE STOP SHOP which offers all the above mentioned services under one roof to any of the Customer Service representatives.

We wish, through this change, to have all commercial services needed by our members to be within their reach. Mr. Al Mutaiwee ended his statement by saying" we at DCCI want to re-assure the business community of our commitments in serving them and accommodate their needs; moreover not very long from today members will be able to print the Certificates of Origin at their premises.
