The new-look site with more content and interactive features is more focused, more detail oriented, user-specific and userfriendly, facilitating easy access to government services, said officials.
The eGovernment dubai.ae stall in Hall 8 is hosting all the Dubai government departments showcasing the eServices offered by them. Based on the category of visitors, the actual content will change reflecting what they would need.
It is a more focused portal on different customer segments, said Fadi Hindi, IT consultant for Dubai eGovernment.
The new-look website is based on the findings of a detailed government survey which came up with more than 600 suggestions from more than 1,000 participants, to improve eServices, said Rehab Lootah, senior business manager of eServices.
"We started doing the changes gradually and reintroduced dubai.ae today," she said.
Information is specific to seven categories three of these dealing with citizens, residents and visitors and four of them relating to businesses, said Lootah.
The interactive segment is an opinion poll aimed at continuous improvement of the eServices offered, she said.
