Bahrain is keeping abreast with modern technologies, which play a vital role in supporting the Kingdom’s comprehensive development.
This was emphasised by Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa as he highlighted the intiatives initiated by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He noted that Bahrain’s digital infrastructure has reinforced the transformation of financial services and economic sectors, which enhanced the quality and efficiency of services available to individuals and institutions.
Shaikh Salman was speaking as he received yesterday the Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO), Deemah Al Yahya.
The Minister hailed the organisation’s role in enhancing the digital ecosystem and employing innovative technologies. Al Yahya expressed thanks and appreciation to the Finance Minister, praising Bahrain’s efforts to support digital transformation and enhance its active role as a founding member of the organisation.
