The Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) has included, in conjunction with the eGovernment Authority (eGA), an array of free-of-charge eTraining courses as part of the national eGovernment portal services (Bahrain.bh) to provide all employees of government entities and ministries with the opportunity to make best use of eTraining courses provided by the institute through the online registration on the ePortal.
In this context, BIPA Principal Development and Innovative Learning Senior Director Mr. Mohammed Al Sabba declared that the institute has adopted the latest techniques and approaches which would help create a climate for advanced training by utilizing the most up-to-date technologies and practices with a core focus on developing public administration and training in several ministries and state institutions; as well as contribute in preparing and providing training for employees therein.
BIPA focused on creating an integrated e-environment that offers opportunities for training and education to the staff through eTraining project that has adopted flexibility-oriented advanced concepts.
Al Sabba further stated that all public sector personnel's - registered with the Civil Service Bureau (CSB) - can benefit from Civil Service employees services by visiting the national portal through which they can gain access to their personal and job details as well as obtain eTraining services relevant to the government employees. Such services offer employees the opportunity to join eTraining courses provided in Arabic language and the opportunity to withdraw from a previously online registered course via the portal.
The Senior Director called upon all public sector employees to register on the portal or via www.bipa.gov.bh in order to benefit from BIPA's services comprised as part of CSB Employee Services where public individuals can create an account at BIPA system for training process management through which users can search, register or withdraw from available courses - noting that the system does not allow users to register in new courses without having completed the previous one.
"There are relevant rules and regulations to follow for registration at BIPA's eCourses as shown on the electronic service and linked to BIPA's system for training process management; with a core focus on organizing the training process and ensuring that a significant number of users can maximize benefits," said Mr. Al Sabba.
The service is also interactive as it enables users to receive notifications via email and SMS to confirm their registration and will be notified to complete the course during the specified time frame for that purpose.
