"The effort is to transform the processes and means of handling and exchanging official correspondence to the electronic method," said eGA in a statement yesterday.
The authority said it carried out several introductory meetings with various ministries and governmental entities to create awareness about the government to- government (G2G) communication project, including system automation.
The Director of Policies and Business Processes Re-engineering, eGA, Dr. Zakareya Ahmed Al Khaja said the project aims to develop the administrative work of national and governmental entities through the latest technology applications.
"It is a system for automation and archiving of the process of correspondence among the ministries and national/government bodies."
This was in line with the eGovernment Authority initiatives to enhance electronic services among various national bodies and to upgrade electronic communications among G2G entities.
This project automates the correspondence among the ministries and governmental entities activating the channels of communication and networking among the organisations with enhanced security options and confidentiality, high speed and effectiveness.
