Transforming Government since 2001

New Noida will be built to mirror the best features of modern foreign cities, with eco-friendly buildings powered by solar energy and abundant green spaces.

The Uttar Pradesh government’s ambitious vision for a new, state-of-the-art city, New Noida, has officially been approved. Located across 84 villages in the Dadri and Bulandshahr regions, this futuristic city promises to be one of the most modern and technologically advanced urban hubs in the country, poised to outshine Noida, Greater Noida, and Ghaziabad.

Phased Development to be Completed by 2041

The development of New Noida will take place in four phases, with the entire project set to be completed by 2041:

  • Phase 1 (2027): Development of 3,165 hectares
  • Phase 2 (2032): Development of 3,798 hectares
  • Phase 3 (2037): Development of 5,908 hectares
  • Phase 4 (2041): Development of 8,230 hectares

This massive undertaking will significantly boost the development of the Gautam Buddha Nagar and Bulandshahr districts in Uttar Pradesh, transforming the region into an economic powerhouse.

Smart Infrastructure and Digital Traffic Management

A key highlight of New Noida will be its smart city infrastructure. Designed with cutting-edge technology, the city will feature an integrated traffic management system, including smart traffic signals, real-time traffic monitoring, and crowd management. The city will also employ advanced surveillance systems to monitor both traffic and public safety.

According to Noida Authority CEO, Dr Lokesh M, New Noida will be built to mirror the best features of modern foreign cities, with eco-friendly buildings powered by solar energy and abundant green spaces. The city’s planning will emphasise sustainable development, creating a seamless blend of urban life and nature.

A Hub for Innovation and Employment

In addition to its smart infrastructure, New Noida will also prioritise the use of emerging technologies to tackle environmental challenges. The city’s master plan includes provisions for real-time monitoring, enhanced security and crowd management, and innovative solutions to urbanisation problems.

New Noida will not only serve as a model for future urban development but also provide millions of employment opportunities, significantly boosting the regional and national economy. With its advanced facilities and forward-thinking design, the city is set to raise global urbanisation standards, inspiring other cities across the country.

The approval of New Noida marks a new era for Uttar Pradesh, with the potential to redefine the future of urban living and contribute to the country’s rapid growth on the global stage.
