As many as 10 such initiatives are expected to be launched by district administrations in their respective jurisdictions. The state government recently issued an order to all divisional commissioners to ensure that the initiatives are in place and implemented soon.
The initiatives have already been implemented successfully at some districts, and now the government is looking forward to take them across the state from May 1. Two major projects to be implemented at every district with priority includes 'samadhan yojana' - one window system - to ensure that visitors would get all the services at one window, and a project for issuing of various kinds of certificates to citizens.
'Samadhan yojana' has been implemented successfully in Wardha district, while the project for issuing of certificates and online submission of applications has been running successfully in Thane district. The government has also stated that projects such as 'e-governance' of Nanded district, 'e-lokashahi' of Jalgoan district and a special project of Latur district pertaining to rebuilding of farm roads will be implemented at every district.
Besides this, every district is expected to install biometric attendance system at the offices of divisional commissioner, district collector and sub divisional magistrates - to ensure that work efficiency increases. The officers and employees have also been asked to use mobile phone, internet, video conferencing, GPS and satellite images at daily work, for accuracy and speedy disposal of work.
