eXactpark smart parking platform will help improve parking access and traffic flow on UWM’s campus.
The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee has tasked eleven-x, a provider of smart city solutions, to improve the parking experience at its 104-acre main campus.
Eleven-x will deploy its eXactpark parking monitoring solution that combines sensor-based space occupancy monitoring, real-time data, and intelligent enforcement amongst other features.
To help UWM’s 4,700 employees, 23,000 students and countless visitors find parking more easily, eleven-x will install more than 1,200 units of its award-winning SPS-X sensor across various parking structures and street spaces on site. Additionally, solar powered signage will be installed at key points to help drivers with wayfinding, reduce cruise times, improve pedestrian safety, and enhance the overall campus environment.
eXactpark’s software platform will also provide real-time insight on parking availability for more efficient parking management to support increased revenues. The easy-to-use digital dashboard will be accessible via website or phone app, enabling the university to share space availability and location with drivers.
