Two Quicksilver initiatives were among six federal and two state and local IT projects to receive Showcase of Excellence awards today at FOSE 2004 in Washington.
A team of CIOs, chief financial officers, procurement executives and chief human capital officers honored Grants.gov and Disaster Management. The committee nominated 10 finalists and selected two winners in each of the four categories: e-government, Defense, homeland security, and state and local.
Remember this is about results, and all of you have demonstrated results today, said Karen Evans, Office of Management and Budget administrator for IT and e-government.
