Transforming Government since 2001

Beginning Monday, real estate property records for Pulaski County’s 30,177 taxable properties will be available online and able to be searched by a variety of methods, according to Commissioner of the Revenue Trina Rupe.

The records are accessible through the Real Estate Assessment Card Search Gateway via “Property Card” on the commissioner of the revenue’s link on the county website, www.pulaskicounty.org. Records will be updated throughout the year as changes are received from the circuit court clerk’s office.

Rupe said realtors and appraisers frequently request information from the parcel cards to review comparable properties, assessed value and check property detail such as number of rooms and square footage. Other property details also available are dwelling description, most recent sale and building improvements.

The online database may be searched by owner’s name, address, parcel identification number, description or sales price range. Realtors, property owners and others previously had to call the county’s real estate office for this information. Now it is available at no charge any time of day, nights, weekends or holidays.

“This is a good tool for citizens to have enhanced access to real estate information,” said Rupe. She noted it’s an advancement she wanted to make in the commissioner’s office while she is commissioner.

Andrew Foxx, who works in the county GIS department, developed the program enabling online access with some consultation from an outside vendor. “It helps us meet our goals of e-government and increases efficiency within our office,” Rupe said.

The county’s website also offers mapping and real estate information through the IGIS portal. Mapping layers show roads, railroads, major water features, polling places and precincts, zoning, boundaries and more. Aerial photos are available from the reassessment version of the IGIS website.

For more details or to request property information, contact the real estate office at 980-7753.

Rupe said she is happy to provide this service to the citizens of Pulaski County, but her office will also continue to serve citizens in the commissioner’s office if they prefer to come in.
